Argan Oil To The Rescue!!!!

I recently ran out of the Etae Shampoo I had been using, and desperately needed something that would moisturize and detangle my hair, as I was about to reinstall some kinky twists before my trip to New York. This left me standing in the Walmart ethnic care section perusing sulfate free options for, as my husband says, an inordinately long time. Before I began to use the Etae system, my go to was any of the Shea Moisture shampoo/conditioner sets. However, if I’m completely honest, I don’t think the formulation of SM’s products are as good as they used to be. With SM out of the running, I considered picking up the Palmer’s Coconut Oil shampoo, but then my eyes landed on the Crème of Nature Argan Oil Moisture Shine Intensive Conditioning Treatment.
Hello Old Friend!
About a year ago, I had been browsing the aisles of my local pharmacy, and saw this conditioner and the accompanying edge control on sale. Since I love a two for one special (and needed some edge control for my latest hairstyle), I decided to give these two products a try! I thoroughly enjoyed both of these products, and used both of them on myself and my daughter. With this in mind, I decided to pick up another bottle of the conditioner, and finally try out the shampoo.
Suds on Suds
For my first thought on this shampoo was the lovely smell of this line. From my previous use of the edge control and conditioner, I was very happy to see that the shampoo had the same smell. I wouldn’t call it overly floral, but it smells clean and fresh with just a hint of perfume. After thoroughly wetting my hair, I took a large dollop of this, and began to work it into my hair. Immediately my hair felt softer and easier to work my hands through. As I rinsed out the shampoo, I noticed that my scalp did not feel stripped or upset from the ingredients, and my hair was very soft and manageable. Consider me impressed!!
The Next Step
Since I’ve used this product before, I knew it was going to work, but decided to increase the benefits of it with my microwave heating cap. I thought I had lost this a couple of years ago, but alas, while moving I finally found it! After heating the cap, I put it on my head for 15 minutes, then rinsed it out. The lovely scent, and conditioning properties were awesome, and made it super easy to use a comb attachment on my hair and blow it out.
Each of these products were $4.98 at my local Walmart, and I believe for the amount in each, as well as the overall quality, this is a great buy! My hair type has been classified as 4C/Z, and so it is extremely coily and dense. Since I like to primarily use sulfate free products on my hair finding this brand at my local store is amazing! I recommend this product, and will continue to buy it.
